Alif Shirali

I was very surprised to hear of Alif’s passing last year. I hadn’t heard from him but I was looking forward to catching up at the reunion. He was one of a particularly fun group of roommates, including Feroze Khan and Rajan Nair, whose penchant for loud music drove my roommate Chuck Henebry wild, much to my not-so-secret delight. I hope there will be some news of Alif’s life, so we can remember something of him beyond his death. He will be forever frozen at age 21 in my mind and there will be much laughter in that memory. - Rob (Greenstein) Rader
